Help for Road Vehicle Descriptor Online

The Road Vehicle Descriptor (RVD) online system has been designed to allow online display of light vehicle specifications. It is intended to provide an efficient way for those involved with NSW registration schemes in NSW to view or print specifications of specific vehicles.

The data displayed on this system is supplied by the Federal Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS).

To ensure effective use of this service, it is recommended that the following minimum system specifications are met.

Browser - Internet Explorer v5.5 or Netscape v4.7

1. For Windows users, Windows 95 or better
2. Internet connection, 56k v90 modem or better
3. 128MB RAM
4. 10MB free hard disk space
5. Monitor resolution 800 x 600 or better
